How do I get a quote for printing?

We quote for each job individually. Please contact us hi@jotpress.co with your specifications and we’ll get back to you with a quote. Specifications we need to quote include quantities, size, format, paper stock, and type of print (e.g. foil, giclee).

If you can send a screengrab of the design—even better! If you aren’t sure of the specifications, then don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We love working with our clients to offer guidance on materials and print methods to translate their idea or design into a beautiful piece of print.

Can you tell me about delivery options?

We deliver worldwide and use tracked delivery for all bespoke print orders. UK orders will be sent out via tracked next day delivery. Most UK and international orders will be sent out with DHL. In some cases, we will seek a quicker courier service if the quoted time is longer than we’d expect. 

Please note, international buyers are responsible for any import duties and taxes. Jot Press is not responsible for any delays or customs fees that may occur.

During the production process, we’ll send an automated email requesting the delivery address. We’ll also ask you to supply the recipient’s name, email address and phone number so they can get updates from the courier, if applicable.

Please ensure this is correct as we aren’t responsible if items have been lost due to wrong address supplied.

How do I pay for bespoke printing?

Once you’ve placed an order with us and confirmed your proof, we’ll email you a pro forma invoice. Where possible we prefer payment via bank transfer, but we can also accept card payments using PayPal or Stripe online payment – just let us know and we can set this up for you.

Can I get an exact colour match for my design in foil?

It’s not possible to match foil colour exactly, but we can recommend the closest options. It’s worth noting that foils look different on different boards so it can sometimes be worth testing.

How do I set up artwork for foil?

When you’re ready to proceed with your order, please supply artwork as a PDF. Where possible we ask for artwork to be outlined. If your design includes elements that can’t be outlined (e.g. hand drawn illustrations) or if you’re unsure of this process do get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

We’ll send you a black and white digital proof to scale for you to have one final check of all the details and approve. We will only proceed with tooling once we have written approval via email.

Do you keep tooling?

Yes! We can keep tooling so you don’t pay for that again for future reprints. We recycle dies that are date specific.  

Can you do a printed sample with my design?

Yes, we can do a printed sample with your design but there will be a tooling and set up charge. If you go ahead with the full print run using the same dies, we’ll remove the cost of tooling off your final quote amount.

Will you share my print? 

We generally print some overs to keep for our portfolio. We will often photograph these to feature on our website and social media, crediting the client/designer/brand where appropriate. If the print is for an event, we wouldn’t share before the event date. In some cases, we might include some overs from our portfolio in our sample pack. Please let us know if you’d rather us not publicly share your work.
